through seven kings until Lucretia's woe,
conquering all the peoples roundabout.)"

    Viz is an abbreviation of latin videlicet("evidently", and, by extension, "namely, to wit", from videre(to see) and licet(it is permitted), the same licet that underlies license and licentious and that appear in scilicet("obviously, namely, to wit"), the "sci" part being from scire(to know)).

Out-worn heart, in a time out-worn,
Come clear of the nets of wrong and right;
Laugh heart again in the grey twilight,
Sigh heart again in the dew of the mourn.

Deep within his conscience man discovers a law which he has not laid upon himself but which he must obey.

Add eggs, water, and oil.

I'll be over for lunch.  Please have the cookies baked by then.  Yum!

That's a recipe for a facial mask, silly.

"Isaiah says heaven echoes with the praises of the Seraphim give unceasingly to the holiness of the Lord, God of hosts."

The book was The Secret of the Rosary and is less than a foot from my keyboard. It was hard to find the fifth sentence though. That page had very long sentences (and a Biblical quote) and the fifth sentence is mostly on the sixth page (everything after "Isaiah says")
