It looks like there is going to be another TLM in Philly (and the first permanent one in South Philly in along time).

Re: New Weekly Sung Traditional Latin Mass at St. Paul Church between 9th
and 10th St. on Christian St., in South Philadelphia, Sundays at Noon,
Beginning Oct 25, 2009
Sodales:
Father Gerald Carey, Pastor of St. Paul Parish in South Philadelphia, has
announced that beginning on October 25, 2009 (the Feast of Christ the King in
the traditional calendar) a weekly sung Traditional Latin Mass (Missa
Cantata) will be offered at St. Paul Church every Sunday at noon. The weekly
TLMs
will begin with a Solemn High Mass on October 25. Everyone is most
cordially invited.
Parking is available across the street from the church. The church, which
is very close to the 9th St. Italian Market, is readily accessible via
various SEPTA lines.
The establishment of this Traditional Latin Mass in the Center City/South
Philadelphia area is something for which the Latin Liturgy Association, Inc.
and others have been working and praying over long years. I ask all our
members and friends to pray the Magnificat today in thanksgiving for the
wonderful blessing of this new weekly TLM. Also please pray for the success of
this
new endeavor.
Father Carey welcomes your help with this new endeavor, e.g., with servers
and singers for the Mass. His e-mail address is
frgcarey@comcast.net. The
mailing address is: Fr. Gerald Carey, Pastor, St. Paul Parish, 808 South
Hutchinson St., Philadelphia, PA 19147
Thank you for giving this message your attention and for publicizing this
new spiritual opportunity. We are very grateful to Father Carey and other
members of the clergy for making it available.
Divinum auxilium maneat semper nobiscum! Nos cum Prole pia benedicat Virgo
Maria!
Most cordially yours,
Rudy Masciantonio
