I recently came across this beautiful prayer for friendship, and thought I might share it here.

Give me for my friend one who will unite with me hand and heart, who will throw himself into my cause, who will take my part when I am attacked, and who wishes others to love me as heartily as he.

Be this type of friend to someone else and it will come to you.

This prayer is fascinating- it could be seen as a prayer for priests, from Christ's point of view. Smiley
