Wouldn't it be illegal to advertise it as fish if it weren't?
It is only illegal if one is caught. And it is quite possible for brand names to have deception in them. I've seen "Cranberry" juice which didn't have any cranberries in the ingredients. For that though, it does have fish in it, it has blue grenadier. EDIT: They use Alaska pollock now. However, when something is so mutilated you can't tell what it was, I suggest avoiding it. To non vegetarians, I always say if you can't see what it was, don't eat it. There is a reason why fast food mashes up the ingredients into a pulp before serving it.

I have to say, the possibility to commute abstinence on Friday with some other penance is one of the only post-Conciliar reforms (if not the only one?) that I think praiseworthy — per se, at least —, as it is supposed to remind the faithful that the purpose of abstinence on Friday was precisely penance, not to indulge in fish and chips or a Filet-O-Fish and fries. hahaha there really is truth to this. How many threads have we seen extolling the virtues of Friday's abstinence while parading an assortment of mouthwatering seafoods, pastas and sauces, veggie pizzas, potatoes whipped or baked, cheesy soufflés and tomato-y casseroles, salads and breads, salty snacks and sugary desserts and let's not forget the beer and wine. But look, ma........ NO MEAT!!!!

It is only illegal if one is caught. You're just the type I'm looking for. I don't know about Pennsylvania, but in Ohio, the law is written as "No person shall do any of the following: 'x', 'y', 'z'." That sounds pretty objective to me. I guess Ohio left out the part that says, "No person shall get caught doing any of the following: 'x', 'y', 'z'."

Doritos, dipped in cottage cheese, I love that snack...I though I was the only person that did that aside from the dude that showed it to me back at Bragg I guess it's more popular than I thought... Who knew Trads were so into cottage cheese? You should all go to Wisconsin at some point in your life just to get some cheese curds... Oh man... I miss cheese curds. Culver's has the best cheese curds. They are especially good dipped in ranch.

We is eating a sushis---the usual Friday night fare.

home made baked maccaroni and cheese with steamed broccolli and some yummy garlic cheese bread...yep, mostly carbs tonight... gotta problem with that?
Yeah! OK, not really, but that does sound good. I'm thinking some fried eggs over tomato bread, although Matt's French toast idea sounds pretty good, too.

We decided on French Toast and scrambled eggs mainly due to the fact that our hens have been going nuts laying eggs lately ..we have quite an excess, and sales have been a little slow this week..Thank goodness we do have quite a few customers picking up eggs this wekend..

Plans changed, somewhat. Instead of the eggs, we're having the Pa amb tomàquet with some Baked tomato nests from the Calling all recipes for a cookbook thread.
