What an epic game that was! I did not play it as much as Age of Mythology, though I nevertheless spent many hours playing it online (in the summer of 2005). I did acquire Age of Empires III, but was not playing video games as much by the time of its release, though the relatively little time I did spend on it was thoroughly enjoyable; I very much like the game's historical setting and attention to detail in that regard.

Dude, how did I miss this thread? Heck yes I remember Age of Empires 2. I used to play this all the time with a few friends (Conquerors Expansion). One of the best games ever made.

I never liked the Expansion... But then again I didn't play it much.... Well, I have a weeklong break starting Thursday.... time to restart some old flames.... C&C Red Alert 2.... AoE2.... HoN....... :-D (The above are why I need to start two dating advice threads, heh heh) |

I mainly used to make up my own terrains, and battle my mate over LAN.
In the editor, there was Robin Hood themed stuff. Does anybody know if there was a Robin Hood part of the actual missions etc in the game?
I completed Barbarossa, and started Joan of Arc but that was about it. Oh and tried a bit of the Genghis Khan one but didn't get far lol.

I remember that game!
I used to play it all the freakin' time when I was a kid.
Probably the second best RTS game next to Warcraft II, at least of those I've played.
