Karen Lhotka of Alcoa, TN, plans to found a new pro-life charism in that diocese.  She needs at least two more women who would practice the life with her before she officially approaches the bishop.  She really hopes that other women will join her so that she is not the only one writing the "working constitutions".   Current practice in founding communities permits the wearing of the habit INDOORS only at this time.

Here is her website: http://cloisters.tripod.com/holyinnocents/

If you are not interested in the religious life, but are interested in supporting this charism, you may be interested in Dr. Gianna's Assistants for Life.  http://cloisters.tripod.com/drgiannasassistantsforlife/

She now has her own blog: http://sistersoftheholyinnocentsandstgiannamolla.wordpress.com/

Vocational inquiries are asked to go through Cloister Outreach: foundress2003@yahoo.com   I am considered founder-mentor, but I'm also assisting her with the inquiries until they are further along.  Karen has set up her own email address, from which she will respond to inquiries.

Karen is compiling an information package for her bishop, and she plans to get that to him very soon.  His schedule is slammed for the next three months, so meeting with him will definitely require Mary's extra graces.

She is now accepting prayer requests.  Please see the blog for the prayer requests page.

The information pkg is on her bishop's desk now.  Please pray he turns his attention to it soon.

She spoke informally to the bishop of Knoxville on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and he said this is a project he would support.  She will be meeting with him in January.
