I grew up on Sesame Street but haven't watched it since those days. I found it a great educational tool, but wondered if there is anything objectionable about it today for parents trying to raise their children in the Faith. What are people's thoughts?

It teaches children intemperance by gluttony on cookies.

But seriously folks, Sesame Street is awesome. There is nothing wrong with letting your kid watch it. There may, however, be something wrong with not having them watch it.
This also applies to: Mr. Rodger's, Looney Tunes, Pee Wee's Playhouse, The Wuzzles, Eureka's Castle, Doug, Recess etc.

Loony Tunes was made for adults, not children. About Sesame Street, I think Dave Chappelle said it best; it is highly objectionable. NSFW:

What is wrong with rapping? It's not music, it's poetry set to music. But that's a discussion for another thread.
