I guess I am more of the original series kind of guy, well I guess because I am able to watch TOS online and I can't so much TNG
For those wondering: http://www.cbs.com/classics/star_trek/

Also, you can watch TNG online Smiley

Just to get people started: Part 1 of Deja Q: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpiLEG9IqiE&NR=1

That episode won't make sense without the background, so I suggest searching for the episodes in relative order: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Star_Trek_TNG_episodes There is a list.

"It's a trap!"  --Admiral Ackbar

 Tip o' the hat

you're welcome, ONE AND ALL.

 ROFL

Anyway...

"After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true." - Spock, Amok Time

This line has always stuck with me, and I think it is the wisest line in all of Star Trek.  It always comes to mind when I don't get something that I wanted.  Particularly when you figure in the context of the quote.

From: "This Side of Paradise"

Spock: "I've never understood the female capacity to avoid a direct answer to any question."

And the exchange...

Spock: "No, I don't think so."
Kirk: "You don't think so.. WHAT?!!
Spock: "I don't think so, Sir."

Is that the Vulcan equivalent of a chapel veil that Spock is wearing?
