WRC is a fountain of knowledge...  he's got the awesomest suggestions!

I've gotta write these down.
That he does! You should always take advice from people who have the results you want, Wholly is very happily married, so I would listen to him boy....especially the drunken serenading, nothing gets a girl like a cheesy 80's romance scene...
Three words, Remember Top Gun (the cheesy barroom scene).

Well, as a brief update...

I briefly talked to her.

And when I say briefly talked to her, I mean we were both walking back to our apartment building on campus, she saw me coming towards the door, held it, waited, and then asked me how my weekend was, and we talked about how classes and the day went.  So, yay for the girl breaking the ice and making the contact, haha!  (This followed my not-so-sober interaction with her on Friday, although I will say no dumb stuff was done around her/near her on Friday night while drinking).

Now we're Facebook friends (lol) and it's a crapton easier to talk to her.  Yay!  ?

As a looking-to-the-future idea...  We've got our Christmas floor potluck next week.  I'm probably going to spend most of my Sunday preparing a number of different foods (mulled wine, some German desserts, and a main course - either spaetzle or maultaschen) to bring along/give to the floor as food.  Hopefully it turns out well, and my cooking skills don't fail me!

Course, if anyone else has any other ideas for the interim.... that'd be greatly appreciated!   Wink

Unless the Lord God had been present in your spirits, all of you would not have uttered the same cry. For, although the cry issued from numerous mouths, yet the origin of the cry was one. Therefore I say to you that God, who implanted this in your breasts, has drawn it forth from you. Let this then be your war-cry in combats, because this word is given to you by God. When an armed attack is made upon the enemy, let this one cry be raised by all the soldiers of God: It is the will of God! It is the will of God!

Genesis XXVII:iii-iv Take thy arms, thy quiver and bow, and go abroad:and when thou hast taken something by hunting, make me savoury meat thereof, as thou knowest I like, and bring it, that I may eat: and my soul may bless thee before I die.

Si hoc signum legere potes, operis boni in rebus Latinis alacribus et fructuosis potiri potes!

"You are the ones who are happy; you who remain within the Church by your Faith, who hold firmly to the foundations of the Faith which has come down to you from Apostolic Tradition. And if an execrable jealousy has tried to shake it on a number of occasions, it has not succeeded. They are the ones who have broken away from it in the present crisis. No one, ever, will prevail against your Faith, beloved Brothers. And we believe that God will give us our churches back some day. " - St Athanasius

Stay away from her like the plague.   You'll save yourself ubelievable heartache when she inevitably starts getting freaked out about commitment 3 to 6 years from now.

Walty, don't know if your post was coming from personal experience, but if it was, DANG. You have my sympathy on that one. It's a rough place to be.

Sad

If i had to stay away, though, it'd make living arrangements horrible!  Our school has an open-doors policy, and she's in her common area of her apartment a lot.  So, I'd probably have the plague now.    Sad

Hopefully the food I make will be halfway near the quality of the food purchased.  It'll also be my first go at making spaetzle and maultaschen, but....  it should be halfway decent anyways....  Hopefully?

Carbs are great.   Wink

Thanks Smiley My other was to kill people close to her to make her vulnerable, but I think there are moral issues with that.
