St. R.   You're 26...talk like this and the mindset will only get worse unless you make an active choice to defeat it...otherwise it will run and ultimately ruin your life///what a waste for someone so young.

There really are not words enough...and any real discussion would have to be private since it might cause embarrassment....but you can take this thing by the horns and wrestle it to the ground and win...if you really want to....if not...well...oh, well.

Oh please. You can go and follow the world and loose your mind, not me. What I say is not my opinion. It is the mind of the Church. There are many priests around the world advocating this. It is Bishop Williamson and the great Churchmen of the past who advocate it the best.

I am serious about actually trying to transform the world back to a Christian civilization from the pagan atheistic ceasepool that it is right now. Going back to the old world. Actually it will be better than the world because the prophesies of the saints promise of an even greater restored world and Church.
I follow by example. As A Catholic I always dress formal in trousers, collared shirts, and jackets. If I was a woman, I would never were pants. I have helped other women also see this truth.
It seems the world is so emasculated and gripped by feminism, that men who try to restore the natural order are opposed, even by other men who are a disgrace themselves.

What it all really boils down in the rebellion against God's creation of two different sexes, with differences, and inequalities. Men and women will always be unequal. Inequality is the human condition.  This inequality has nothing to do with human dignity, so nobody try to play that card again.

The truth sets people free. I am at peace. I try to get everyone to see the truth. Get the world out of their sickness and sick minds. It is only people who follow the world of the last 60 years who have a problem.  My generation in the next fifty years is going to fix the filth that the reprobate baby boomers brought to this world. They are always trying to fight daddy. By the grace of God, my peers and I, will have our time, post-2030. We will be the bishops of the Church. The political rulers of states.

Women are susceptible to everything. I'd have to wear both a burkha and duct tape over my mouth to avoid inciting women around me to fits of masturbatory frenzy; and even then, I'm not entirely sure it'd work.

HK, do you think this is proper?

I mean, I know you're a funny guy but there are limits.

There is only one divine faith which is the beginning of salvation for mankind and the basis of all justification, the faith by which the just person lives and without which it is impossible to please God and to come to the community of His children. There is only one true, holy, Catholic church, which is the Apostolic Roman Church. There is only one See founded in Peter by the word of the Lord, outside of which we cannot find either true faith or eternal salvation. He who does not have the Church for a mother cannot have God for a father, and whoever abandons the See of Peter on which the Church is established trusts falsely that he is in the Church." - Pius IX, Singulari Quidem.

I just would like to ask if anyone thinks if the Blessed Virgin Mary were to live among us today if she would be wearing pants. I think everyone knows the answer to that. I believe all women should follow the example of the greatest example of femininity that ever walked the Earth.

An interesting question to pose.  I believe our Blessed Lord would wear attire that was not above what common people wore but exercised the utmost degree of modesty.  If a women where to say that the clothes I wore she found to alluring then I must examine myself as to the sin of vanity.

The problem is simple though women tempting men has to do more with the weakness of men than the modesty of women.  If a women is making a reasonable attempt at modesty (in words, actions, dress) out of charity she is doing her duty.  If a man does the same thing he is performing his duty.  A women who endeavors on perfection tries to show supernatural modesty and reverence for herself and others.  A man who wishes to become a saint does the same.

So what do you think is supernaturally modest and reverent for a member of the laity for everyday use.  Something tells me it might be a slight burden and might make a person stand out a little.  Of course it is what is in a persons heart which is most important which is love of God (because we are made in his image) and love of neighbor (having pity on mens eyes and women's envy).  (Lets eliminate all those non western fashions like burkas though from the suggestion box)

One last thought our blessed Lord did warn about being overly concerned about what we do wear.  Because of that none of us should be attached to what we wear day to day and should seek to please God more even in our external actions of Modesty.

I want to say upfront that I don't think pants on women are inherently sinful, but I do need to say that I agree with almost all the article, and that I DO feel much more feminine and comfortable in skirts than in pants. I try to wear skirts every day, but honestly, I wore only pants for a very long time, and financially I can only replace my wardrobe in small amounts at a time. I can't find pants that fit me well, or modestly though. I love skirts now, whereas before I used to hate them.

Just my 2 cents...

I always wear skirts because pants are immodest *on me.*  There are some ladies who look completely decent in pants, and then there are some of us who have what I believe is referred to in the vernacular as junk in the trunk.  Please remember this when you make a universal declaration that pants are fine by the standards of today.  Yeah, if I wear a tunic down to my knees over the pants it's fine, at which point I might as well wear a dress.

I can't help but entertain the idea that some of you folks would fit in perfectly with the (sometimes snobbish) middle class of the 19th century.

I like dresses and skirts because you can look up them.  Seriously, I have often seen things I should not have by accident thanks to their design.

Women should wear pants with a dress on top and be done with it.
