I am not sensitive...just hormonal as hell! Been having contractions for 2 days...puts me in a foul mood.
And ever seen Stephen Harper, DarkKnight? No sensitivity there,the guy is damn near emotionless! (But I do like him so!)

My advice: beer and a bath...I did this nearly every night the last 2wks of my last pregnancy. I was pretty darned comfy until my water broke...in the bath...and like an idiot I decided to get out of the tub to labor...should've stayed put and just had another beer.  |

Sagely advice! and it's a medical fact (albeit Irish) the Guinness helps the milk let down (probably a few other things too which is what lead to the lass being in the need to nurse a bairn). |

I'd stay away from a hot bath, just because jacuzzis and saunas themselves are contraindicated during pregancy.
As for 'inducing' labor, what worked for us when we were running late was, well...the same activity that got you into this situation, let's put it that way.

I learned at my childbirth class that mom sucking on something can help stimulate contractions. Don't have any idea why that would be, but I guess it's worth a try. Also nipple stimulation, but I'd rather have a lollipop.
