Have you noticed more men these days saying "Yay!"? Are these the same types who drink out of straws?

Who can explain this shameless muliebrity? Has the Oprahist emasculation campaign really succeeded?

The men I know who say "yay" always do so in an ironic, self-aware manner.

"I have an exam and two papers due on Monday. Yaay."

Yeah that's how I use it too.  It's true that the majority, although not all, of the men I hear saying that are gay.

Sometimes a guy will say it echoing a woman they're interested in though.

What's wrong with a straw?

I am using one right now for my tasty beverage.

Men who say "yay" are gays. Period.

End of story.

"THE LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 26:1)

"And we, too, being called by His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified by ourselves, nor by our own wisdom, or understanding, or godliness, or works which we have wrought in holiness of heart; but by that faith through which, from the beginning, Almighty God has justified all men; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." — Clement, bishop of Rome

"I love truth," says he, "and not sects. I am sometimes a peripatetic, a stoic, or an academician, and often none of them; but—always a Christian. To philosophise is to love wisdom; and the true wisdom is Jesus Christ. Let us read the historians, the poets, and the philosophers; but let us have in our hearts the gospel of Jesus Christ, in which alone is perfect wisdom and perfect happiness." — Petrarch

Dude, really?

High school much?  I'll bet people who wear shoes you don't like are "gay" too.

Are you feeling cornered?

"Yay" is typical of women and children. Real men don't say it, unless in jest.

Eye-roll  As mentioned above, I don't say yay except ironically, but I'm so glad you've met everyone in the world, AND are here to tell us what constitutes a real man.

Fisheaters is truly blessed.
