Every January 15 until January 24 the men of Chiapa de Corzo dress up in elaborate costumes and dance in thanksgiving for everything God has given them. The men are called Parachicos. They also honor Saint Sebastian and Saint Anthony the Abbot by carrying their sacred images and singing songs.
