A father-figure to my dh is dying of cancer.  He has led a public sinners life, and I don't know if he has repented (or if he is baptised, etc).  Please pray that he may make a perfect act of contrition before he passes into eternity!

I will pray for him, but I have to say in addition: Cancer is not the death sentence modern medicine makes it out to be (if they said the truth, it would be bad for business).  If this man is at all interested in knowing the things that have worked for others who were told they would be dead in a short time, please let me (or someone on this forum) know.

Unfortunately, it's too late for that.  He has had cirrhosis of the liver, and his cancer is lung cancer which has metastasized all over, including his brain.  He was diagnosed last year sometime, and his end is nearing.

But thanks!!  I would be interested in the info you have if you could PM me.
