My brother and his pregnant wife went to the hospital at 4:00 a.m. this morning, as she was having contractions.

Please pray all goes well and that, God willing, the little fella may safely enter this world (if today is to be the day).  Please pray for his momma (Claire), too, as I know she has had some anxiety issues in general.

God speed to all, and thank you.

Praying, Eamon.

St. Gerard Majella, pray for them.

P.S.

I think it is way cool that they called Uncle Eamon so he can worry/pray/anxiously wait along with the parents to be. Smile

Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true.– Buddha

Note: According to this precept, I find that Buddhism is NOT true.  I have tested and judged many things, and the only Truth I have found is in God's One True Church: The Catholic Church.

Dear Lord, I know I can live by Your Holy Will every moment of my life, because You have given me faith that Your Grace will enable me to.

Hey everybody, my little nephew was born at 12:52 p.m. today!

He is healthy (6 lbs, 11oz), and momma is fine!  Thank you very much for your prayers on their behalf.  May God reward all of you, and may He bring little Conor William Shea to the Baptismal waters soon, and to Heaven when his mortal life is over.  May He do the same for all of us.

Uncle Eamon!  I like the sound of that.

I had a hunch you were an even jollier good fellow than I already knew, Sammy!
