Discussion of monarchy -- the most sane form of government -- is always welcome and is perfectly on-target for this thread. (BTW, while I can't be said to be a "gun nut," I am a huge supporter of the natural right to own weapsons. "Out of my cold, dead hands" and all that!)

I would really like a Catholic republic right here in the US (not I am opposed to  monarchy). But the problem is that it was founded on faulty principles, including the influence of Freemasonry, which some Catholics underestimate. It will be very difficult, though, to form a Catholic party into something of a force, to try to reform the government, unless traditional Catholics band together and put forward their own candidates and never compromise on any crucial issue. It will be an apparent losing battle, but it will be worth it, at least to get our message across that Christ must rule over all societies. This truth, many Catholics, especially in the NO, don't know.
