What is the purpose in spreading this sort of thing around?  Are any of us here really ignorant of the sorts of things that go on in the extreme liberal fringes of the Novus Ordo?  Is it news to anyone that some Novus Ordo parishes have "clown masses"?  Are we sharing these photos around so that we can once again cluck our tongues and shake our heads?  To what purpose?

It's just a phase, lumen, calm down.  We all go through the "ohmygosh, look what novusordowatch has now!" period in our lives.

As for the unfortunate poster, take two articles of the Summa, one random Saint from Butler's Lives, and PM me in the morning to let me know if clown "messes" still make you wonder.

I wish the earth would open up and swallow them. Uncharitable I know...

Yes, the uncharitable side of me wishes this sometimes too. In all reality though, we must pray for them, and all the church's hierarchy, since they have been entrusted with Christ's Mystical Body and will be held accountable for their custodianship.

As false shepherds are the destruction of their flock (the ruination of the common good), it is not contrary to charity to pray for their removal, by death if necessary.
