In my opinion they are not even houses of God; they are houses of the Devil. I think God flees from these ugly "synagogues of Satan" i just don't see how He, the God of beauty, would stay in such a thing.

So if a priest carried the Blessed Sacrament into such a place, it would revert to bread? I don't think so. Assuming a valid consecration, God is just as present in these ugly places as He is in the most beautiful traditional churches, although the latter are certainly more fitting for Him.

Of course not but i do think that His Grace would flee from the people who choose to stay in such a building or even let it stay standing. If these people were truly Catholic and not just in name only they would show it especially when they have the chance to. Modern culture is for modernists not for Catholics or a Catholic church.

This is the Church of the Holy Name, Dunedin, New Zealand. I definitely do not think that it is very beautiful indeed. In fact, it is quite plain.
Note the overhead projector and the screen - this quite clearly detracts from the sanctity of the church by making it like a seminar room or lecture theatre. The Tabernacle, which is inseparable from the altar, has been moved off to the side.

If you removed the tabernacle, the corpus and the statue of Our Lady, this church could well be a Protestant church.
