Are those people (presumably Hindus) praying infront of the tabernacle?

I suppose that is alright, provided they aren't praying publically and out loud to a different diety....

As I understand, they are praying in front of a Buddha statue, and Mother Theresa is praying with them. We do not, of course, know if she was syncretistic and praying to Buddha as well as God, but regardless of whom she was praying to, this is a very bad example and a grave cause of scandal which must be avoided.

Well as long as we're making speculations and wild assumptions, I'm going to speculate that that's probably two different pictures taken at two different times, that the men in the first picture are praying before a statue of St. Joseph, and that the woman in the second picture isn't even Mother Theresa - it's her body double, since everyone knows the real Mother Theresa was killed back in the 1940s along with the real Sister Lucy.

Also, Elvis can be seen just over the shoulder of the man in the middle of the first picture.

This is not speculation or wild assumption, I believe it is quite a well known fact that Mother Theresa did indeed pray with members of false religions. I don't have sources, as I don't keep tabs on this sort of thing, but I imagine that other posters or perhaps Tradition in Action might be able to provide authoritative proof.

One thing that bothers me besides her praying to a demon is her posture. She's bending over as if adoring or submitting herself to the false idol.

This quote is attributed to Mother Theresa

"there is only one God and He is God to all; therefore it is important that everyone is seen as equal before God. We should help a Hindu be a better Hindu, a Muslim be a better Muslim, a Catholic be a better Catholic. We have among us Catholics, Muslims, Sikhs—all different religions."

Is this not syncretism? When was there ever a missionary who went out to confirm non-catholics in their false religion?

Now that i look at the first picture again, it is a buddha statue,, how scandalous is this.....

even if we take it at the most innocent it still reveals her nuns praying before a false idol,,, whether they are making any sort of mental distinction at all, it's objectively scandalous,,,

there's the NewChurch for you... enjoy!
