Morning all.

Just curious if there are any among us who were Sede's, but have since changed their minds on the situation?

Also why did you 'come back' so to speak?

 To put it diplomatically, sedes are pretty steadfast (ie: fanatical, obsessive) in their beliefs! A joke, just a joke!!

B ishop Terence Fulham is a good example of an Ex-Sedevacantist clergyman, who now is one of the most ardent advocates of the Ratzinger Papacy and despite his own illict episcopal consecration, believes unity with Benedict XVI is necessary and therefore the SSPX is "schismatic".

 

I know about some other examples too.

This is what I do not get about "sede-plenist" Bishops: if they are so loyal to Benedict XVI, why don't they submit to the Vatican and be willing to submit to its judgment? Why do they not seek reconciliation?

 

Is Bishop Fulham seeking reconciliation with the Vatican?

I believe Paulus Sextus was once a sede (although I leave it to him to confirm or deny such in this thread).  He is certainly anti-sede (and seems to be somewhat anti-g_v) - and rabidly so - at this point.

Which sounds a lot like, "When I have determined Rome is Catholic enough, I will seek reconciliation.  Until then, I will act independently of Rome and the local bishop, both of whom I pretend to recognize."
