Does anyone here get The Four Marks? What a refreshing alternative to CFN and the endless articles in the Remnant. I love it! God Bless Mrs. Plumb for her efforts.

That's the website. Mrs. Plumb has not put a lot up online for now, as I think she is focusing on getting the newspaper really rolling along.

Here is an interesting commentary on "The Four Marks" from a comment on the Weblog of the same name:

Although I abhorr that you have been accused of heresy, I frankly do not see how your Newspaper is any better since you accuse the "Feeneyites" of heresy (website: "Feeneyists deny the doctrines of the Baptisms of blood and desire, heresy of Fr. Leonard Feeney)". I do not think that throwing around the word "heresy" does anyone any better. Heresy is precise canonical term and a very serious accusation that would have had severe consequences.

You purport that The Four Marks "is intended to help unite Catholics by resolving differences through careful study and prayerful discussion." However, all I see is more and more of the same thing by both sides. This is why the sede-vacantist cause is not succeeding as it should be. Now when prominent men such as Gary Matatics are publically declaring the sede-vacantist truth, when sede-vacantism is being more openly and objectively discussed in the wake of Ratzinger's blunders, this fratricidal and unnecessary debate is detering people from the facts.

Unfortunately I have heard people accusing Mr. Matatics of heresy because he supposedly does not hold the BOD/BOB theory (although there is no proof of that). It is utterly disgusting.

Both sides have gone too far. Both sides are responsible for renewing the Passion of Our Lord by tearing asunder His Mystical Body with this schism.

Obviously the man is a "sede-vacantist" who is not enthusiastic about this publication.

Someone at my chapel gets bulk copies and sets them out in the social hall. I always mean to grab on but whenever I get there there always gone! I'd rather pay and help out Mrs. Plumb though as she needs it.
