I am  a mother of two sons currently serving. My Chris is a Marine and My Jeff is serving in the Navy. You bet that there is going to be further action in the Middle East, my boys both know it. Chris did one tour of duty over in Iraq. BTW my son in the Navy says that they always joke about the USMC being brainwashed and I don't see my son or his Marine buddies getting to upset about it. You bet your life do not underestimate these young men. I know first hand what a living hell my son went through and I also know that he Catholic conscience bothers him with this war. He will be out in December and not only do I fully support him, I would dare anyone to get in his face about what he believes to be right with his country and wrong with this war. HOORAH

Ungrateful rodent arses?

Did that get him banned?

I don't think he was banned for it.  Maybe someone brainwashed him into deleting his account.

No one was ungrateful towards Mike or his service payed to the military. He just acted like a plain jerk sometimes and felt he could say what ever he wanted and if anyone countered him he would through back the I was in the military so screw you line. Being in the military in no way gives you leeway to be uncivilized and rude.

With all due respect I challenge you to pull up every post I've ever made on this forum and find where I have ever said that exact quote besides in this post.

I never said that exact quote. I said "line", I meant you feel like your superior to everyone else because you where in the military and you make it known often.

No, but it does give him an advantage that many of the young, inexperienced males on this forum do not have.  His opinion should be treated with respect and just a bit of deference.

I respected his opinion until he started insulting Matthew and his work.

He asked for it.  Matthew's ad hominems had nothing to do with anything in this thread besides being unbelievably rude and betraying his own faults.  The man who provokes another to anger is just as guilty of his sin.   I'm tired of the pups around here taking pot shots at Mike.
