Hmmmmmm... Via (the despicable) Drudge Report comes this from the True Crime Library:

To this day, John and Patsy Ramsey have lived up to their promise and continue to search for their daughter's killer. They have posted a composite sketch of a suspect compiled by the late psychic, Dorothy Allison, on their Internet site with the attached message:

"Have you seen this man? This man may have been in the Boulder area in December 1996. ... We firmly believe that this most horrible of killers will be caught based on information provided by people who care about right and wrong. ... Please help, so another innocent child will not be a victim and another family will not suffer unbearable grief."

Allison, who claimed to have assisted police investigations, came up with her vision of the suspect during an April 1998 appearance on a network television show. She died on December 3, 1999. Boulder Police Chief Mark Beckner declined to comment on the late psychic's work.

Um, one doesn't have to be "demonically possessed" to have psychic abilities.

She did seem to have a certain talent.

She won't cash in on it since she's deceased... I can just imagine her on Larry King followed by all the offers.

Maybe so, but just for the sake of argument, and that she really would be a Psychic, it's plausible that the drawing was accurate.  Remember, the drawing was done 10 years ago.

Vox, I'm curious.  What is your definition of psychic abilities?

Before becoming a "tradvert", I was into the whole Remote Viewing phenomena.  The people who study it claim anyone can gain psychic powers thru meditation and other methods of training.

I came across a Hindu form of meditation that's supposedly very similar to this.  According to Catholic researchers, the goal of this Hindu meditation was to achieve "godly abilities", but instead resulted in demonic possession.

Hmmm... This suspect could be issuing a false confession (always a possibility anyway): acc. to reports, he said he drugged and then sexually abused JonBenet -- but acc. to her autopsy report, no drugs were found in her system.

If it is a fake confession, the psychic (or "psychic") did a good job of guessing!

The ability to know things beyond the means of the ordinary senses.

One shouldn't seek abilities like that as demons can mimic them, and doing so leaves one wide open to their influence. If a person is encouraging "developing" extra-sensory abilities, run.

One either has the gift/ability or not, and the gift/ability is either natural or it is praeternatural -- which can be from good angels or from demons.
