A man dies and gets to Heaven (presumably he went to purgatory). Inside, everyone is naked. He sees two people who he instantly recognises as Adam and Eve. How did he know this?

Classic math problem, explain this...

1/9 = 0,1111111....

2/9 = 0,2222222....

...

8/9 = 0,8888888....

Explain why 9/9 is not equal to 0,999999999.... but rather equals 1

Because in fractions, 9/9 = 1 whole number

Yes but it seem that the increment, from 8/9 to 9/9 is a tiny bit bigger then the other fractions to go from .9999999999.... to a full fledged 1.

It would seem one slice of the pie is infinitisimally a tiny bit larger then the others.

Unfortunately, I am not a math genius, so I can't explain it any better. :(

Well your answer is correct essentially, It's my own question that may be bad.  Let me rephrase it.

Is 0.999999999.... equal to 1?  and demonstrate it.  I'll leave it up for a few days for homeschoolers.  Basic algebra can solve this riddle.
