     It is beautiful to read.  I feel sad that Msgr Knox spent so many years of his life working on it.  The bishops of England had asked him to do so.  Once done it was hailed as so "readable".  But then the explosion began with everybody (French, English, Protestants, Catholics etc...) making new translations from older manuscripts.
     Old book shops would come up with copies as so many were in existence in the 50's and 60's.

Bishop Fulton J. Sheen preferred to use the Knox translation in his books.

Wikipedia, not exactly "Gospel truth" mind you, says this:

"Baronius Press have recently secured the rights for the work from the Diocese of Westminster and is currently in the process of producing a new complete edition of the Monsignor Knox's translation."
