Thanks to this thread and ESpear's wonderful advice, I have been smoking my pipe now for a little over two months now.  I am still learning, but I definitely feel comfortable and relaxed with that pipe stem between my lips, and the smoke rising from the bowl.  I'd never smoke anything else; only a pipe!

A pipe?  I have to wear a frock coat, a silk dress and a top hat.  And now a pipe?  Being a traddy is getting to be expensive.

And slightly ridiculous if you want my opinion.

Now Marty can tell me to go away too.

Traddy or not, life in our modern world is very expensive. Everything costs tons of money.

Well my pipe has arrived, a beauty of a Stanwell and some Georgia Cream baccy.
Beautiful stuff.
I've smoked it twice, I've enjoyed it heaps and it's really a great way to relax after putting a 2yo to bed....

I want to publicly thank Ellis for all his help and the time he made to respond to my questions and also of the tips he gave to me over the last little while.
I'll post some photos soon.

Oh, you men, you men....

Glad you enjoy the pipe, Marty. What does your wife say?
