My oh so considerate landlord management company has told me that they are going to begin gutting the building where I live in next week. 

 

They are offering me a sweet deal... $400 cash, deposit back site unseen, and they will pay for a moving company to pack me up and move me... IF I can find a place to move to within a week.

 

This wouldn't be quite so impossible except that I don't own a car and so move-in prospects are narrowed down to a smaller area that has easy access to bus routes.

 

I've got an aparment locator searching for me today.  Please pray with me that she finds something that's really nice and with a good location so I can take advantage of this deal.

BTW - what happened to that apartment you found but didn't have the money until you discovered old 401K money?

It's not going to be ready until December 18th!  Unfortunately, now I can't wait that long to move... which really bites because I love that apartment!

  But it sure is a good thing I do have that old 401k money.. I will need it to pull this off.

Woo hoo!  That was quick!  The apartment locator found me a really nice place.  I went and paid the deposit an hour ago.  The lady in the office said that they are usually full, and it was only due to an unusual circumstance (someone backing out) that they had an open aparment!

 

St. Joseph sure is a powerful saint!  I hope he sticks around while I'm packing this weekend

Yes, great news!  St. Joseph always comes through for us too- even in emergency situations- he's a gem.  Thanks St. Joseph!
