After all of the bickering back and forth over this issue for the last couple weeks, I have come to the conclusion that there is only one fair and objective way to settle this question once and for all: Googlefight! Click on the URL below to watch the fight to end all fights:

Sigh, I must concede defeat for once.

Well, the way Googlefight works is that it scans Google and sees how many hits the terms entered return. Thus, there are many more pages on the internet with women in pants than with women in skirts.

Just goes to show that the Internet is a tool of the evil, modernist women-in-pants promoters.

Sadly, I don't have a good answer to that. Um, maybe I'm addicted to it?

i don't know what any of this stuff means. I am new to this discussion forum, and maybe this is the entertainment page.

As a woman who is a convert/revert, my attire, I feel, is my own business. I for one will not receive the Eucharist in anything other than a skirt. To me, it is a matter of respect, nothing more, nothing less.

You would have to be a dork to have a pre-arranged meeting with the President, and you, a woman, showed up in levis or cutoffs. We are talking about someone far better than a guy in a suit, He is Jesus Christ. I intend to look my best and show my respect. The one exception was a year ago. Post-surgically, I received communion from a Eucharistic Minister in my hospital room. I still quickly fixed my hair. It ws the best I could do.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, oh Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the evil spirits, who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls.

This ongoing discussion is not about women wearing pants to Mass. It's about women wearing modest pants in casual situations.
