Friends and neighbors,

In your charity, please pray for my Robert, my 76 year old father. Today, the 27th, he went into the hospital near where I live with a bad case of rectal bleeding.

Tomorrow, the 28th, he is to have a colonoscopy done to find out what's going on inside him. His primary care physician says it may be just a reaction to some radioactive seeds planted into him some years ago. It was done to shrink a tumor in his prostate. But one never knows.

So I ask you to pray for him, that Our Lord may heal him. And pray for my Mom that she may be comforted and strengthened during this time of trial.

On their behalf and in advance, thank you all for your prayers.

I'll pray for him, and for you too.  I've been down this road with my own Dad, and now with my Mom, and I know that making the transition from being the child to being their caregiver is a tough one.

GOOD NEWS!

I called my Mom from work early this afternoon. She told me that Dad is back home safe and sound.

The doctors did a colonoscopy on Dad and found nothing really wrong. No polyps or anything. Dad, primary care physician found out that the bleeding was - most likely - a reaction to some radioactive "seeds" implanted near Dad prostate when it had a tumor. And that was a couple of years ago.

So we're thankful he's back with us. But please continue your prayers so he may have a full recovery.

Thank you all and God bless you. Smile
