Sounds to me like you should go. The level of abuses differs from place to place so it really is a matter of felling threatened spiritually or not. If things are "not that bad" then they're not that bad.
You can always recite the Rosary (sorrowful) or some meditation on the martyrdom of Our Lady Of Sorrows (7 dolours), etc. Sometimes I go to Mass to get an hour of reading in, so if the Mass is not shocking it can be made some use of.
Be careful not to participate in any dodginess like Communion in the hand from a eeems or what ever they are called. It's your call in the end.

It is very hard to take part in the NO especially if you have been going to a Latin Mass. This is a big problem to those of us here in Oz without a Latin mass community nearby (only in capital cities)
I study my '62 Latin Missal and totally ignore the prayers of the NO Mass (not hard there are not many) especially those wretched prayers of the faithful.
We still go to Mass even though it is Novus Ordo. This is getting increasingly hard for us though. The question is why do we go?
1. To keep the precepts of the Church
2. Example of keeping the precepts of the church to the children (as mine get older they then work it out for themselves but have been reared with the absolute of Mass first for Sunday)
3. Keep vigil with the Lord in the midst of all the disrespect and mayhem.
so what do we do about it all ?
1. Travel as far as possible to attend the best Mass available without risking harmony and holiness in the home by squabbling over which and when to go. (I have a son who is mostly away except a few odd Sundays and he needs his family when he is home so we must be there and not off in the car at some remote location at a Latin Mass.
2. We tell the children, that this is the very best I can give to them today to keep holy the sabbath day and give them the reasons. We certainly avoid one loonie priest as best we can.
3. Be very aware of the abuses that are happening and work to rectify them as best as possible. NEVER receive communion on the hand and NEVER from an extraordinary monster - be brave and swap aisles if necessary, We stay kneeling for the 'Our Father' and the happy handshake to 'keep vigil with the Lord' present on the altar at this time.
Give many black looks and harsh grunts to folk who chat in front of the Blessed Sacrament They are very distracting. - I use my kids a lot here - I tell the old biddies that they are a bad example to the children as I teach them not to talk in Mass... and the gardener who brings her cute puppy into the church boy! is she gunna get it.
and so on and so on.
We recently got some sound advice from the head of a Traditional Order, "for now, stay in the back of the church on your knees with your nose in your Missal"
