Holy Chit!  I liked that one

I can always use a good dose of hope these days.  I'm stuck in this hopeless stupid situation not of my making and I can't get out of and I'm learning the hard way that the only hope is in Jesus and Mary.

I may not be in a good mood these days, but tomorrow is the Feast of the Seven Sorrows of Mary and I'm going to renew my consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  I don't care if I'm not doing well--my mother will give me a shot in the arm.  I don't care if I'm sick and discouraged and there isn't any good news anywhere (yesterday my mother tells me she found a really cool website on gnosticism.  I thought oh for cryin' out loud--isn't there any good news, ever!).  So what to all of it; I'm going to Mass and get reconsecrated.  So what if I'm a disgusting pathetic sinner; Mary will bring me to Jesus who came for the sick, not the healthy.  So what if I'm not even in the mood to go.  I'm going.
