The charts that they use to estimate percentiles of weight and height are based on FORMULA FED infants!  Whenever a pedi has said that one of our kids were in the low percentile range and that we should supplement with cereals or formula, I gently tell him that when you get a chart based on BREASTFED infants THEN I'll worry about the percentiles!
