Friends,
Bishop Bruskewitz of the Diocese of Lincoln is being attacked (again) by members of the excommunicated group known as "Call to Action". Here is a link to some of the coverage in the Lincoln and Omaha papers:

They will present this to the Bishop on Friday afternoon. Here in Lincoln, a petition is making it way around in
SUPPORT of Bishop Bruskewitz.
If you would to sign this petition, I would encourage you to do so. Since I cannot (to my knowledge) attach a file to my post here is what I propose you do:
Cut and paste the following verbage (below), print it off, and then gather any signatures that you can. Next, please fax the signatures to: (402) 488-6412. If you don't have fax capabilities please PM me and I will let you know of an email address you can send them to.
Thanks and God Bless.
Here is the verbage to cut and paste and put at the top of the page:
In response to the recent activity of Call to Action, we, the undersigned, wish to express our fervent support for the Bishop of Lincoln, Fabian W. Bruskewitz. Bishop Bruskewitz has constantly made the flock under his care his top priority, even going so far as to inform wayward members of his flock of the fact that they have excommunicated themselves. Bishop Bruskewitz has demonstrated admirable tenacity in holding to the truths expressed by the Church established by Christ, the Holy Catholic Church, and in his fidelity to the Vicar of Christ, his Holiness the Pope.
