Hi All,

I’m tentatively planning a visit to Rome in November.  I was wondering where to attend Mass.  Obviously the best possible situation would be a TLM at St. Peters but I guess that is unlikely.

My second choice would be a TLM at one of the 17th century or older Basilicas.  Does anyone know if such a thing is possible?

My third choice would be a NO mass in English.  As much as I would prefer a TLM, NO in English would be better (for me) than NO in Italian.  At least I’d understand it.

Thanks,

Tony

The Novus Ordo mass is offered in Latin in St. Peter's daily. If you can't find the TLM.

Mass in English (NO) is also offered at Santa Susanna Church, which is the American parish in Rome.  If you want free tickets to any papal events while in Rome, contact Santa Susanna.  Google them on line.  They have a wealth of information.  They will also help with weddings in Rome for Americans.

Living in Rome, I can tell you that the SSPX has two chapels here (well one about a half hour outside Rome, the other in Rome) and the FSSP has a chapel in the church of San Gregorio (beautiful church).

The Institute of Christ the King has an oratory with daily Mass and High Mass on Sundays at the Gesu e Maria Church on via corso (this NOT the jesuit Gesu church).
