Personally, I think that the word "ecumenism" should be dropped. Besides sharing the truth of the Catholic faith and seeking the conversion of others to The Church, what else does it entails? Isn't that what one was doing long before the word was even used? What is the point of a new word for that? I think it only confuses people.
