What do you mean exactly?  I went through the Churching of women after my baby was born but I do attend a TLM and not the N.O.

Edited to add:  My friend asked her N.O. priest to perform it and he said he would given the proper prayers.

The soul is a breath of living spirit, that with excellent sensitivity, permeates the entire body to give it life. Just so, the breath of the air makes the earth fruitful. Thus the air is the soul of the earth, moistening it, greening it.

I mean if someone attends an indult TLM where traditional baptisms, confirmations, weddings, funerals etc. are all banned, is it possible that she can have a churching, or would that fall under the category of traditional rites needing an indult?

It sounds like if your friend was able to get a churching from a NO priest and indult is not needed.

Since churching isn't exactly a rite of the Church (more like a special blessing), it can be performed by any priest without permission from the bishop.
