Robb, I want to thank you for starting this thread. You're right in every way; too long have the liberals and progessives made our lives miserable. Hell, I remember a time when I thought they would take over and destoy Holy Mother Church altogether. You're right; let them drink now from the Chalice of Pain that we have had forced down our throats the past 40 years.

My friends, don't you see? In many aspects, we are winning. Surely, of course, we have not won. But, in a sense, we are winning. Pope Benedict XVI has our back. Many caridinals that I know of, one in fact sort of personally, has our back. Many bishops, including my own Diocesan bishop, has our back. Yes, we have countless enemies. But, for the most part, those liberals/progressives know they are in deep s**t. Yes, they will react, but all of them know, despite their efforts, we Conservatives are tuff, persistant bastards that want give up without a fight.

We've been given the Orb; let's now get the scepter.

Man they are not going to give up easily. The Priest in my town who says the new mass had not read the motu proprio. So I made a time to meet him. Gave him the document. He told me i was on a dangerous path. He said my ideas where "bull@#!^" and got rather angry. I kept my calm, but after wards felt awful and betrayed. I said you can do it your way and I will do it my way. But no even this was not acceptable to him. Many of them will go to their graves kicking and screaming against tradition. Lets hope many will accept.

Let's not get all excited over the imminent return of Latin.  It's up to the priest, remember.  Liberal bishops seem to have been the whipping boys on this site for some time, and it's well to keep in mind that traditionalists will be confronting many a liberal priest as well.   A parish priest of my acquaintance has already dismissed the motu propio as "stupid".  I wish I could give you a lengthier quote, but that was the entirety of his response.
