Can anyone give me information on Fr John Cordaro of Scranton, Pennsylvania?  I have heard that he celebrates the TLM in that city as well as other locations?  Is he in union with the diocese?  If not then what society (if any) does he belong to?

I tried to write to his chapel address in Scranton several weeks ago but haven't got any reply yet.  I don't have his phone or email address, just the chapel's.  If anyone could give me info on him, I'd appreciate it?

Thanks,

Bob

1. Appeals for funds from a Fr. Francis Suresh claiming to be collecting for Sacred Heart Church
and St. Joseph’s Orphanage in Arakkonam, Diocese of Vellore, India, should be ignored.  Fr. Suresh,
while a priest, is no longer in good standing.

2. Fr. Eduardo Aguirre, a priest from Guatemala, has been in the Nashville area and may
attempt to solicit funds elsewhere.  He has no endorsement from his diocese and is described as
schismatic.  Further information: 615-783-0765.

3. Fr. John Cordaro presents himself as a priest in good standing of the Diocese of Scranton,
and recently attempted to witness a marriage and celebrate Mass in another diocese.  He does not
possess the faculties of the diocese.  Further information: 570-207-2216.

4. Fr. Charles Nguobi Nkuo, a priest incardinated in the Archdiocese of Bamenda, Cameroun
and residing in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis without permission of his archbishop, has
not been granted faculties of the Archdiocese.  Further information: 651-291-4400.

5. The Archdiocese of New York has withdrawn faculties of Fr. Charles Owenja, a priest of the
Diocese of Arua, Uganda.  Further information: 212-371-1011, ext. 2930.

6. Fr. Jorge Hernandez-Cordova, a priest of the Archdiocese of Quito, has had his faculties
removed by the Diocese of Phoenix.  He has been active in several other dioceses.  Further
information: 602-354-2180.

Does anyone know if any others in this list have gone trad?

Well is he independent then?  Does anyone on this forum either know him or attend his masses?
