You want liberal Dominicans, come here.  The sisters here talk about the habit as if it were the worst of medieval torture devices.

Lol!

NO! I want them as traditional and orthodox as St. Dominic himself!

Read "The Jesuits" by Malachi Martin. He tells the story of what happened and it is very interesting reading.

Hi villamaria. Do you know where can I get that book? I'd definitely be very interested in reading the story.

Did you notice this "gay" Jesuit?
  http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2007/nov/07110505.html
Useless to wonder which catechism Fr Brennan is teaching at St Joseph's University.
I was educated in a Jesuit College in Marseille for 6 years in theearly sixties.
I kept a very good memory of  these holy priests. Some are still alive.
  None was alike Fr Brennan.
Nevertheless in these critical times by the corner of actual Vatican II I felt the Jesuit Company was at the tip of Modernism.
Now I am not sure that there is only one Jesuit priest still teaching in this college.
  Where is the "springtime"?

This is another example of the once so great holy order having become a seat of heresy, modernism and scandal!

The Church should supress the Society of Jesus immediately. Most of them are no longer catholics anyway.

As for the "springtime", those in charge still believe we're experiencing the "New Pentecost". Of course, these people are all dellusional if not dishonest in these assertions.

Well, perhaps there's a third explanation: they wanted this "New Pentecost" anyway, because it is the triumph of Modernism and Heresy in the midst of the Bride of Christ.

These are sad times, very sad times indeed.

I'd rather a "cleansing" than a suppression.  No reason to punish the few good ones for the sins of their brethren.

Another one:

Very sad times.
Isn't this "the diabolical disorientation" entering our Church Sr Lucy spoke?
It's time to say clearly what is right and what is wrong.
Those Catholics of cafeteria who have different views from the Church teachings on same-sex unions, abortion, relativism in religion, true Presence, stem cells, contraception, etc... must be said that they are not at all welcome. Doors are wide open for them to leave if they decline to comply.
It doesn't matter the number of the flock might be reduced by one half.

To suppress the order would be the best and sanest thing to do, given the diabolical disorientation these once "footsoldiers of the Pope" keep on showing time after time. The whole order is infected with heresy from top to bottom and this situation must be stopped immediately if we are to care for the salvation of the souls.

In fact, it wouldn't be the first time in the history of the jesuits themselves: they've been suppressed by the Church herself in the past.

and yet....

The Jesuits have done so much to spread the Faith, I doubt very much Catholicism would have survived in the UK without the bravery and witness of Jesuit priests.
