--So, charity, with you, is indeed, reduced to almsgiving?

I will turn your comments over, however, and ask if charity can be accomplished by not leaving the home, including running a crisis pregnancy center? It would seem to me, it can be accomplished, and, IN FACT, may be the most appropriate place for it to be accomplished.

[I never said that.

--Right, nor did I say or imply what you wrote.

In many cases, for the safety and privacy of all involved, it is best for charitable works to be done on neutral ground outside the home.

--And this Catholic teaching can be found . . . ?

And where does the Church say women can't leave the house to help others? Or go grocery shopping? Or pick up the kids from school?
i am coming in the converstation late so pardon me if i misspeak.  in the little that i have read, i don't know if anyone is sying that the Church says that the woman CAN'T do these things, just that it is better if she doesn't.  i don't think it is dogma or a command from the pope or anything like that.  just a lifestyle choice that may be more prudent.

YES!  Prudent is the EXACT word I would have used.

So in the world according to Dumbdoewhatever, Catholicdad, and eve, all the men are out working hard all day to support their families, while the women are holed up in their homes.
No one helping the elderly, the hungry, moms with new babies,  no one praying in front of abortion clinics-- nothing.

1 Cor 15:21 For by a man came death, and by a man the resurrection of the dead. 22 And as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive.

no, but we are jsut saying that this lifestyle is appealling to us.  and i don't think staying at home means not leaving for religious reasons(Mass, Adoration, pro-life rally, charity work, ect.).  but, to be honest most women do not do these things.  i am not refering to the people in this forum but in general.  and those are the instance o which i refere.

and for me, i inted on taking the elderly of my family into my home.  if more women stayed at home and reared their children, took care of her parents and inlaws, and left only for the reasons you mentioned, the world would not have as many problems as it currently has.

Heck NO!

The women are (hopefully) working just as hard, whether in the home or without.

Elderly, hungry, new babies (usually best place IS at home being nursed by Mom), and prayer in front of abortion clinics (I do this on Fridays--DAYS), can be taken care of in the home or by men or women at the home (some men are nurses, and visit the sick, help the elderly, you know).

Of course, other things need to be done, like heavy lifting, guarding against threat, etc.--best left up to men, not nursing Moms.

Agreed?

Please, for the benefit of all, encase and display the "misogyngy" (and any misandry you also might have detected--since that would be, you know, "equal" in the pursuit of fairness).

Sorry, I should have quoted. The "misogyny" I was referring to was the list of quotes SweetPea provided from donumabdeo's previous posts.

Was there a list of quotes I missed, or are you referring to those that largely contained suppositions?

Building error upon error does not make a logical argument.  It makes for GREAT polemics though.

All the bullet points in Sweetpea's post were direct quotes from donumabdeo's posts.

Let's not forget that after working all day, the husband comes home and then has to go grocery shopping, take the kids to the doctors or the park or God knows what else. That won't cause any resentment. Nope!
