I'm just saying that generally I'd rather hear about my wife's joys and needs rather than intellectual concepts.
So, you want a wife appreciably less intelligent than yourself, to share only her fluffy happy stuff and those 'needs' with you - presumably which you previously approved as valid and appropriate for a mere woman to express.
So tell me, what's she going to be getting out of this one-sided (well I was going to say 'relationship' but that doesn't seem the right word, okay, yes, we'll go with 'acquaintance') acquaintance?
At times like these I like to turn to Jane Austen, of whom I am inordinately fond, who usually puts things better than anyone:
"It is happy for you that you possess the talent of flattering with delicacy. May I ask whether these pleasing attentions proceed from the impulse of the moment, or are they the result of previous study?"
