3 years ago I asked our priest to lend our Church for a round of 4 classic music (strings & piano) concerts.
The day of the first concert, I asked him to remove the Holy Eucharist to the sacristy.
He replied: Don't care, Jesus saw worse things in 2000 years!
And he let Him in the tabernacle.
Never I will organize concerts in a church again

Next thing you know the Pope will kiss the Koran.
oh wait.......
yeah, and shortly after that the pope will look right at Jesus and say, "i do not know the man."  he might even do it three times.  oh wait...

i do wonder why some popes mistakes are held up while others are shoved aside.  what God forgives, He forgives.
i am really glad that i have to answer to Him and not y'all.  and i hope nobody holds you to your errors like you hold other people to theirs.
is not God Just?  if JPII deserved punishment for anything don't you think he received it?  why continue beating a dead horse.

You are right. My comment was probably out of line. I apologize. I am a sinner, thanks for humbling me.

Heaven is a REWARD, not a RIGHT.

Every truly pagan society has, at it's core, some form of human sacrifice. In today's world, it's abortion.

It is a duty for a Christian to provide a home to homeless foreigners.
Jesus never entrusted us to provide them a temple where to worship false idols would these be named Jupiter or Muhammad.
Since 13 centuries our poor muslim brothers are deceived by the "False Prophet" of the Revelation. It is our duty to enlighten them, not to strengthen in their error.
Muslims don't worship the same god as Christians since they deny the Christ. They cannot go to the Father but only through Jesus.

What exactly is the objection to the pope kissing the Koran?

Please tell me you're kidding here.....

Not kidding.  Please tell me the objection.

I see the dismissiveness, now howz about an explanation of why Eagle's Wings (Psalm 91) is objectionable.

Here's a question... if it's being used as a mosque, can we really call it a Catholic Church anymore?

Let's find out if we can use a Mosque for Catholic worship.  Let's see if it works both ways. (not)

I'm sure that's what the King of Saudi Arabia told the Holy Father; right!

It's vapid, insipid, lame, self-centered navel-gazing twaddle that has no place being yodelled anywhere but some protestant huggy-fest.

Surpassed only by Table of Plenty.

The objection is this... The Koran is a blasphemous book.  It denies the Holy Trinity, it denies the divinity of Christ and it denies that Christ died on a cross.  It is the sacred text to false religion and, as Catholics, our faith would never let us show reverence to blasphemy.
