The Pope kissed a Koran big deal get over it all non catholic mud slingers Smile

Does the Pope bow to meccah chanting Allah Huackhbar in daily prayer to Allah?:deadhorse
Answer No !

IS the Pope Catholic ? Answer YES Smile

People need to remember the Popes words against the Islamic faith that sparked much Anger in the muslim world.
No thats too much to ask for someone to remember this, people have a short memory and are too quick to take one outward act of kissing the Koran out of respect, waaaay out of context! people are all to quick to waive the banner of condemnation towards the RCC and its leadership in great haste at any cost to take yet another cheap shot!

what does the bible say again ?
"Blessed is the peacemaker":thumb:

The Bible also says don't worship false idols.  It's in that little section called the Ten Commandments.

The JP2 Papoloters need to get over the fact he was a weak Pope who made huge mistakes that will have far reaching spiritual consquences on millions of people.

B16 has to spend some time cleaning up, and he's trying, but it's hard to sweep up after elephants when 90% of the bishops that your predecessor appointed are against you.

Well yes dont WORSHIP False Idols Smile
Can you prove to me beyond a resonable doubt that the pope in his heart worshipped the Koran that he worships Allah ? if not well best not make the charge Hmmmm Smile
Blessed is the peacemaker Jesus said this Smile
The Bishop of Rome would be fully aware of this im sure as an accomplished Theologin Smile

Josaphat,

Yet again does the pope pray the Rosary or does he use those muslim beads ?

Just a thought ?

Is the Pope Catholic or is the Pope Muslim ?

What impact does this have on his infallible doctrines and church Theological decisions ?

People forget what the word infallible really means and some have the concept fly over thier head 100MPH and they miss it !

Smile

I wonder why I feel FE is becoming so filled with trash [in case you mised it: that's you dude]

"I'm back sinners."

“Even if Catholics faithful to Tradition are reduced to a handful, they are the ones who are the true Church of Jesus Christ.” - St. Athanasius, AD 373

"It is granted to few to recognize the true Church amid the darkness of so many schisms and heresies, and to fewer still so to love the truth which they have seen as to fly to its embrace." -St. Robert Bellarmine

Psalm 38:19-21 (New American Standard Bible)

19But my enemies are vigorous and strong,
And many are those who hate me wrongfully.
20And those who repay evil for good,
They oppose me, because I follow what is good.
    21Do not forsake me, O LORD;
O my God, do not be far from me!

A Catholic Church Turns Into A Mosque

Print this article

Thanks to Vatican II. No surprise:

Quote

Nostra aetate, no. 3:

“The Church also looks upon Muslims with respect. They worship the one God living and subsistent, merciful and mighty, creator of heaven and earth, who has spoken to humanity and to whose decrees, even the hidden ones, they seek to submit themselves whole-heartedly, just as Abraham, to whom the Islamic faith readily relates itself, submitted to God… Hence they have regard for the moral life and worship God in prayer, almsgiving and fasting.”

Lumen Gentium, no. 16:

“But the plan of salvation also embraces those who acknowledge the Creator, and among these the MUSLIMS are first; they profess to hold the faith of Abraham and along with us they worship the one merciful god who will judge mankind on the last day.”

Accuse no one of misinterpreting Vatican II. With these texts, what do you expect?

Hear Pope Clement V contradict Vatican II!

Quote

Pope Clement V, Council of Vienne, 1311-1312:

“It is an insult to the holy name and a disgrace to the Christian faith that in certain parts of the world subject to Christian princes where Saracens (i.e., The followers of Islam, also called Muslims) live, sometimes apart, sometimes intermingled with Christians, the Saracen priests, commonly called Zabazala, in their temples or mosques, in which the Saracens meet to adore the infidel Mahomet, loudly invoke and extol his name each day at certain hours from a high place… This brings disrepute on our faith and gives great scandal to the faithful. These practices cannot be tolerated without displeasing the Divine Majesty. We therefore, with the sacred council’s approval, strictly forbid such practices henceforth in Christian lands. We enjoin on Catholic princes, one and all. They are to forbid expressly the public invocation of the sacrilegious name of Mahomet… Those who presume to act otherwise are to be so chastised by the princes for their irreverence, that others may be deterred from such boldness.”
