If we get enough interested people and after we choose a leader we need to discuss a "base of operations".  We could choose to talk about it on Fish Eaters, but, then again, this is a public forum.  Perhaps we should start a blog.  It could be a private blog, which is only open to invited participants.  This is an option and since I have a blogger account, I could easily make one.

That, of course, is just one option.  And, firstly, we will need to see if enough people are interested.

All groups of more than three people need a leader in my opinion, without one it will just be a number of individuals going on forums, we can do that without a group.

A group needs unity, direction and coordination to maximise its impact all this cannot be achieved without a leader imo.

But we are getting ahead of ourselves, lets see how step one develops.

Who else is interested.

Yes,and I know several excellent trad priests, who when I tell them,I am sure they will help with any answers to tough questions. I can call them. I think you need a lot more than 5. And may I suggest a novena to help with the sucess. Pray before the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration.

I dont know if a leader is needed,I mean if someone asks a question,do you go to the leader for the answer?

And I am not good with all the latest computer tech,But I have a friend who can show me what I need to know,if anything.

Good suggestions.  If we do this, then prayer must be at the center.  We should definitely pray a novena and frequently pray to our Lord and for the intercession of the saints.  Frequently I pray that I could help evangelize at Yahoo Answers and Askville.  So, great point - prayer is the center of this project.

Secondly, having holy, traditional priests that could be contacted for advice is a great help.

Third, I think a leader is important.  Perhaps, we should even have a leader and a co-leader.  Now, if there is a leader, this person will not be in complete control; this person would not need to approve each action by the members of the Crusade.  The leader, at least on the Phatmass Crusades, is a person that organizes the effort.  This person would be engaged in communication and help organize us.  I think that a leader is a good idea.

But, let's focus on step 1.

Steps

1. See who is interested
2. Choose a leader for the group [or split into a few groups if many people are interested]
3. Find a location for planning and be able to contact each other via email
4. Suggest sites that could use the evangelization

I have found private groups on yahoo groups very good and I think they would fulfill the needs of a HQ.

Also something to consider would be the use of instant messenger services like MSN to allow members to coordinate and communicate better.

As I said, Phatmass has done crusades in the past - there are currently none active.  But here is how they structured the last crusade.  I have removed the person information [names, forum names, etc] because this came from a locked forum.  However, here is their basic structure:

Group One
forum:
leader: 1 Person
crusaders: 6 People
prayer warriors: 4 People

Group Two
forum:
leader: 1 Person
crusaders: 5 People
prayer warriors: 4 People

Group Three
forum:
leader: 1 Person
crusaders: 5 People
prayer warriors: 5 People

Group Four
forum:
leader: 1 Person
crusaders: 5 People
prayer warriors: 4 People

Leonius, you know a lot from your posts, maybe you should be a leader. Next monday, its back to the salt mines here, and sometimes I am out of town for 3-4 days with no computer, but it can we worked out. And remember the priest I told you about in a PM,,Fr "P",if this goes foward I will tell him and I would think he could answer any question. He answered 1 for me once that a prot minister posed, and totally annihilated his argument.

I have had diccussions before with other "faiths",and sometimes they are easy to reason with,as there objections are sometimes very basic. My wife says I should have been a priest(this is not true, however,I do better out here, and I could NEVER give Communion in the hand,NEVER)),because if something comes up at a family gathering,I usually argue the faith. I dont like to argue really but the prayer"what I have done and what I have failed to do" comes to mind.It seems to me many are on the road to perdition, sad but maybe true.

There are other very sharp posters on here, let them find this. I think the site owner and stevusmagnus would be 2 good ones,if they are able to do it,that is. Lets see what happens.

If we get enough members and we organise it right the group will be able to maintain effectiveness when people have to be away, which is going to happen that is a certainty as we all have other responsibilities.

Father P's help would certainly be excellent to have.

So thats 3 people so far.

Come on people this is your chance to do something positive for Christ.

You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house.

I'd be happy to help deal with any Mormons that come into the net.
