My period started two days after my wedding.
It did not screw up our honeymoon, we had a great time all the same...and there is plenty of time for that when you get home!
 Congratulations and God Bless!!

The Diva cup can't be used during intercourse,
but the Instead menstrual cup can.  I've never used them, but I have friends who swear by them.  They sell Instead at regular stores too.

I use a Diva Cup ... or did, back in the days when I had a menstrual cycle ... It's true you can't use it during sex, but it sure will help protect your clothes, which I believe is why it was originally mentioned.

I agree with pretty much everyone else.

As mentioned, we're not Jews.  Women are not "tainted" just because their bodies are working as God intended them to.  Put a dark towel down.

If that seems distasteful to you or your fiance, that's perfectly understandable. Just wait a few days.

Theologically, there's no requirement to consummate the marriage on the wedding night.  Just that the marriage be consummated.  So no worries there either.

And, congrats! Smile

If you're like many brides, the nerves leading up to the wedding will naturally postpone your period anyway. Congratulations! I wish you an enjoyable, cramp-free honeymoon.

My cycle went completely off during the wedding month. Off a full two weeks a matter of fact.

IMO, either deal with the mess or wait a couple days. It isn't the end of the world.
