I wouldn't suggest order from Halo-works, I tried to place and order from them last week and the website doesn't work and neither does their phone number that's listed. I think they might have gone out of business or something. I just got my first veil 3 days ago (when it gets here and I get a chance to wear it I will probably act like an idiot and post pictures) and I got a really pretty looking one (well it looks good on the web) one for a good price on Ebay.

I got my veil from "She Maketh Herself Coverings" and it's the lace mantilla at the bottom of this page: http://www.headcoverings.com/CoveringsOrder2LaceVeils.htm

All of their coverings are handmade, from what I know, so it takes about three weeks to get them. It takes a while, but it's beautiful. They also have lots of designs to choose from.

What are we not doing right now as a society? A part of that answer lies in this House [pointing at the Kenyan Parliament building].”

A shameless self-promotion, but I make veils, mostly from vintage lace.
Take a look http://www.catholichomeandgarden.com/Veils_And_Mantillas.htm

A tad too shameless I think.

It isn't normally that good for forum users to bump up old threads for commercial reasons, especially when the thread was made by someone who isn't a member of the site any more.

Those veils are very nice though.

I actually am a member of the site and have lots of links posted to Fisheaters on my site -- something that got me panned by Catholic Culture when they reviewed me. I didn't take them down.

I think he was referring the originator of the thread, who is no longer with us.
