And I thought we were going to have a new Stevus to play with :(
I can't remember Stevus ever making a case for a woman not leaving the house without her husband's permission ... he was just obsessed with skirts. Oh, and that Doctor Love guy. He probably would have liked the idea had it come up. The best part of it was that Stevus had absolutely no control over his own wife

He even defended the use of NFP!

Who is this "Stevus" character?
He was a long-time poster here with thousands of posts to his name. Underwent a metamorphosis over the years, not in a good way, alas -- he used to be a really nice guy. Seemed to get bitter and contentious and obsessive at the end. Anyway, one of his schticks was repeatedly posting that long letter written by Cardinal Siri telling why women shouldn't ever wear pants.

All righty then. Thanks for the info. I got banned over at another Catholic forum because I was too militant in my opposition to baby-killers. Oops. I guess I should've compromised. Anyway, enough hijacking of this thread.
Some American men look for foreign wives because they don't want fat, stroppy munters. I'm not saying all American women are fat, stroppy munters, but a large number are; and they make everyone else look bad. (Disclaimer: I am happily married to the non-fat, non-stroppy, non-munter version of an American woman.)

Because nothing on earth is worse than a woman being fat Are you new? Or have I just never noticed that you are a pig?

What, he was banned because he couldn't control his wife? I sure hope that doesn't get anyone banned.
