Squirrel Nut Zippers, Brian Setzer, and Cherry Poppin' Daddies rock.

Quis, aren't you too old to be cool?

He is.  Those guys aren't cool anymore

Yes, I'm too old to be cool, however I still know cool when I see it.   My favorite band these days is Opeth.  They're cool.   I also know who loses cool.  Like how the band formerly-to-be-metal-but-let-bob-yoko-ono-rock-pussify-them known as "Metallica" was cool until they released "Load" and got progressively worse and more uncool until that zenith of lowness known as "St. Anger".

My dad was always a HUGE fan of Brian Setzer. Everything Setzer has done my dad has picked up and enjoyed.

Did you see Resurrection Mary?

I am not joking when I say this:  to this very day, I refuse to open my eyes at night on that street.  I'm afraid of her.

Eh, I never saw her.  What are you afraid of?  It's not like she ever hurt anyone or possessed anyone.  She just wants a ride.  I'd give her one.

Well with Death Magnetic coming out soon, we'll see what happens. Supposedly the album was made in the spirit of Master of Puppets (whatever that means) and it's being produced by Rick Rubin. So, it sounds promising on paper.

Me personally, I've never had a problem with giving rides to dead Polish girls. They never say no.

I don't like the new bassist. I miss Jason [and Cliff for that matter]. They really have a bad habit about throwing bassists under the bus.

... too soon?

Chicago is the product of modern capitalism, and, like other great commercial centers, is unfit for human habitation.

He's a good bassist.  He was Ozzy's bassist for a long time before he went over to Metallica.

I agree with what you say about how they treat their bassists.
