Wow...that was pretty bad.  I really hope Thursday night doesn't give the election to Obama.

Politically speaking Sarah Palin isn't qualified to wipe her own nose let alone be VP of the USofA.

She stumbled at the beginning, but overall the point was made: oil must go to the domestic markets first.

But people seem to take a lewd pleasure in degrading those who will make a bigger impact in the world in one day than they will make in their whole lifetime.

I'm not degrading her.  I'm stating a simple fact.  Sarah Palin doesn't have the experience or the qualifications for the job she is seeking.  Which is why I said "politically speaking" - I have serious doubts that she has the necessary experience and qualifications to be governor of a state let alone VP of the US.

She might eventually - but she doesn't right now.  Not that it would be the first time that a completely unqualified candidate ended up in a position of great responsibility. It happens all the time, sadly.

In those situations though the voters get what they asked for.

Well, the only reason Sarah Palin got tapped for the Vice Presidency is because she is a woman.  It had absolutely nothing to do with anything else.  The republicans needed an edge, a shock factor that would help them get attention from the public and more votes.  Nominating a female for VP would help with the women voters and perhaps get a few disenchanted "liberals" and closet feminists on board.

Politics makes me sick...
