Novus Ordites say that changing the words of consecration to "for all" is a-ok, and the Vatican has approved some Rites that hardly say any words of consecration. All is supposedly valid!

What's all the hubub because he added words? I thought it was all good? ;)

If a Pope can consecrate Russia without saying "Russia" then there is really no cause for complaint about this linguistic interpretation, is there?

I'm so glad I'm not part of the Novus Ordo religion.  Thank God for the SSPX and Archbishop Lefebvre (R.I.P.)!!

So all the Bishop has done is complain. He needs to get his balls out of a jar and DO something. Like excomunicate the Parish i.e. ArchB Burke and Stanislaus Koska Parish, until they tow the line. Or is he afraid he might hurt some feelings.

Bathersby, who will eventually decide the fate of St Mary's, is currently out of the country and could not be interviewed. No doubt he's praying for guidance.

Actualy he is probably hoping that this will all blow over so he can get back to the important business of worrying about climate change or something.

"This is fundamentalist Catholics wanting to control the rest of the church," she said. "Our liturgy clearly reflects the modern world. We live in a world where people marry and divorce, some people are gay, and there's a whole range of relationships. The Government recognises this. How come the church can't?"

Is it wrong to want to beat this person with a 2x4?

A 2x4? I'd use a crowbar.

Yeah, God.  The government recognizes all sorts of unions, why can't you?  Get with the program.

It would be an act of good Christian charity.

That would be because we're Right (with a capital "R") and they would be ... WRONG!

A good friend and worthy adversary.

Live your life in such a way that every morning when your feet hit the floor...Satan shudders and says..."Oh No...he's AWAKE!"

Sometimes the Internet reminds me of being in a chicken coop with an infinite number of Chicken Littles at any given millisecond dodging pieces of their falling skies.

There is a subtle difference between "invincible ignorance" and intolerably stupid.
